What do I have to do to become an Affiliate?
You need to first purchase 12 Minute Marketing at the discounted Affiliate rate. You also need to complete the Affiliate agreement before selling 12 Minute Marketing or CloutReach to others or adding other Affiliates to your Affiliate referral network.
What will I earn on sales I make?
As an Affiliate, you will receive 20% of net sales revenue received by StraterEdge Consulting as a result of your direct sales of 12 Minute Marketing and CloutReach to business users and sales to other Affiliates referred by you.
Note: Set-up fees for CloutReach do not generate sales compensation.
What do you mean when you say “net sales revenue”?
Net sales revenue means revenue received by StraterEdge Consulting as a result of a sale made by an Affiliate minus any referral fee paid to an Affinity partner referred by that Affiliate.
Can I earn a bonus?
Yes. When you reach $1 million in net sales revenue, you will receive a $50,000 bonus. Each time you reach another $1 million in net sales revenue, you will receive another $50,000 bonus. There is no limit to the number of bonuses you can receive as long as you remain an active Affiliate.
Will net sales revenue of Affiliates I refer count toward my total revenue and toward my bonus?
No. Only net sales revenue from your direct sales and sales to Affiliates referred by you will be counted toward your personal net sales revenue. However, when an Affiliate referred by you (or your referral network) receives a bonus, you will also receive a bonus based upon where that individual is in your referral network hierarchy.
What do you mean by “referral network”?
Affiliates who join StraterEdge Consulting to sell 12 Minute Marketing and CloutReach as a result of a referral you make will be part of your referral network as long as you remain an active Affiliate. You will earn 50% of the Affiliate compensation and bonus we pay to an Affiliate referred by you. Affiliates referred by Affiliates who are referred by you will also be part of your referral network. Your network will include referrals from Affiliate referrals through four levels of your referral network hierarchy.

Is there a limit to the number of Affiliates I can refer?
No. Increasing your Affiliate referrals will help you increase your referral network. The only limitation is your network is limited to referrals through four levels of your network hierarchy.
What do I have to do to remain an Active Affiliate?
In order to remain an active Affiliate, you need to generate at least $50,000 in net sales revenue annually.
What is an Affinity Program?
Our Affinity Program was launched August 12, 2011 to create a business referral relationship between StraterEdge Consulting for 12 Minute Marketing and CloutReach and select Affinity groups.
What is an Affinity Group?
An Affinity group is a business group with substantial membership and the ability to effectively promote to this membership products and services that are consistent with the business purpose of the group.
How does an Affinity Group work?
Because acquisition costs are lower when marketing through Affinity groups, we will offer a lower price for 12 Minute Marketing. The cost of providing ongoing services for CloutReach to these groups doesn’t allow discounted pricing for CloutReach. However, if we agree to a business referral relationship with an approved Affinity group, we will offer members of that group who purchase CloutReach membership in mktg12 at no additional cost as long as they continue to utilize CloutReach.
How do Affinity Groups benefit from offering 12 Minute Marketing?
In addition to being able to offer preferred pricing for 12 Minute Marketing to their members and to provide their membership with the tools they need to drive profitable, top-line growth, Affinity groups will earn 10% on referral revenue received by StraterEdge Consulting from their members for 12 Minute Marketing. These Affinity groups will also earn 5% on CloutReach purchases by their members.
Can I refer an Affinity Group?
Yes. If you have close a relationship with key member(s) of a potential Affinity group, you can refer that business and receive credit for sales revenue received from that Affinity group.
Note: To avoid channel conflict, you need to have prior approval before referring a potential Affinity group.
Will I be vested in compensation from sales to an approved Affinity group that contracts with StraterEdge Consulting for 12 Minute Marketing and/or CloutReach as a direct result of my referral?
Yes, even if you are no longer an Active Affiliate, you will continue to earn a percentage of net sales revenue received by StraterEdge Consulting for 12 Minute Marketing and CloutReach from that Affinity group as long as that Affinity group continues to be contracted as an Affinity group with 12 Minute Marketing.
Note: If your agreement with 12 Minute Marketing is terminated for cause, you will no longer be vested in future referral fees and will earn no additional referral fees.
What would constitute “cause”?
A material breach of contract and/or engaging in illegal activities would result in termination for cause.
What will happen if the contract with one of my Affinity groups is terminated and subsequently re-contracted?
If the period between the cancellation of the contract with one of your Affinity groups and re-contracting is less than one year, you will again earn a percentage of net sales revenue received by StraterEdge Consulting for 12 Minute Marketing and CloutReach from that Affinity group.
Can I be considered an Affinity Group and an Affiliate?
Yes, provided you meet one of the following criteria:
- An “AdAge Power 150” Blog, or
- A website or blog ranking in the Top 1% worldwide, or
- A Twitter account with greater than 50,000 followers.
